Vacancy as Sr. Specialist, Appreciative Community Mobilization, Aceh - Save the Children

Save the Children is the leading independent organization creating real and lasting change for children in need in the United States and around the world.

•  Provide leadership in the promotion and capacity-building for Appreciative Community Mobilization (ACM) as the common approach for an integrated, community-based program in Aceh.
• Coordinate ACM integrated activities, monitor implementation of the ACM plan and budget, and provide on-site guidance and training at the district and provincial levels.
• ACM will be a key strategy for achieving program quality, ensuring effective integration of sectoral programs and development of close partnerships with selected community structures.
• This position will be critical to enhancing and sustaining program quality.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates should possess a university degree (B.A. and/or M.A.) in Community Development or related field.
• Work experience should include at least 5 -7 years of field experience working with and training community groups and field staff in program planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and 5 years experience in application of Appreciative Inquiry concepts and skills.
