PT BHP Billiton is the corporate office of BHP Billiton in Indonesia, currently we expand in several big projects in Indonesia and looking for a senior professional candidate. This senior position will be based in Jakarta.

“Government Relation Senior Officer”

Responsibilities:
• To make plan and coordinate the implementation of External Affairs activities in order to ensure excellent representation at central Government institution. Support overall project developments of BHPBilliton in Indonesia in accordance with BHP Billiton’s Charter and Policies for External Relations and meet or exeed the benchmark sets in these area.
• Coordinate and conduct regular appropriate engagement and consultation activities with external stakeholders particulary the central government institution, NGO’s, to maintain harmonious working relationships.
• Develop external affairs srtategy, Stakeholder analysis and profile.

Requirements:
- Understanding of related mining permit and compliances.
- Degree from Social /Politics or related studies.
- At least 5 years experience in external relations and preferably in mining industry.
- Has leadership skill, working with less supervision, team player.
- Excellent Communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent English and computer literate.
