Graduate Programs at PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC)

PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) operates a coal mine in Sangatta East Kalimantan and is one of the largest export coal mines in the world.  Coal Production in 2008 will be around 42 million bornes with significant further expansion planned in the years to come.

Opportunities exist for new graduates, (year of graduation : 2006 - 2008)  to join KPC for the following positions :

GRADUATE MECHANICAL ENGINEERING (code: ME)    

Requirements :

•  Hold and S1 degree in the disciplines indicated above
•  Be not older than 27 years of age in the year of admittance
•  Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 grade scale
•  Have positive work attitude
•  Be proficient in English (minimum at intermediate level)
•  Pass aptitude test
•  Pass medical test

 GRADUATE CIVIL ENGINEERING (code; CV)     

Requirements :

•  Hold and S1 degree in the disciplines indicated above
•  Be not older than 27 years of age in the year of admittance
•  Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 grade scale
•  Have positive work attitude
•  Be proficient in English (minimum at intermediate level)
•  Pass aptitude test
•  Pass medical test

 GRADUATED OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (code: HS)

Requirements :

•  Hold and S1 degree in the disciplines indicated above
•  Be not older than 27 years of age in the year of admittance
•  Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 grade scale
•  Have positive work attitude
•  Be proficients in English (minimum at intermediate level)
•  Pass aptitude test
•  Pass medical test
