didas We are the famous sportswear and footwear company, is seeking an assertive and energetic person to join the team in Jakarta and take the position of:

Production Costing Engineer (Apparel) - PCE

Purpose/Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside our strategic suppliers to create, define and standardize the operations and style features commonly used in building our product range
• Establish GSD within our LO’s as the basis of price negotiations and pre-costing
• Maintain and update the global database as technology/style features evolve
• Play a leading role in resolving any disputes relating to SMV’s
• Consolidate costing data across the vertical teams and suppliers to make sure everyone is aligned and achieving consistent results
• Evolve costing tools, GSD database and costing standards appropriate to the LO
• Make sure Merchandising teams who are responsible for achieving the results have the appropriate level of costing knowledge. Knowledge about process, tools and cost drivers.
• Utilizing GSD, specify recommended/ expected methods/SMV’s used in performing these operations

Requirements :

• Be a University graduate and engineering is preferable
• Have detailed knowledge of garment construction & manufacturing methods
• Have at least 2 years experience applying GSD in a factory environment
• B a certified GSD practitioner
• Have experience in costing, based either within a manufacturing company or for a brand or retailer
• IT-skills (e-mail, MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Have numeric and negotiation skills
• Have a very good command of written & spoken English
