Technical Service Specialist

PURPOSE:

The job holder is responsible and to achieve for the Auto and Flex Technical Services activities and share some development projects to support commercial function, which cover in the country  according to the agreed business target/strategy and operation standard.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• To support Auto and Flex TS activities in country e.g. trial, information services, modification, development, rationalization, cost control, training (internal and external) and find opportunity for better aspect of applications in term of profit with existing tech. and resources.
• To support development with GBDT or take full response as greed to business direction.
• Perform acceptance level for TS operation standard e.g. EH&S, HERO, ISO, 5S and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with colleague both internal and external functions e.g. TS, commercial, operation, suppliers, customers and government agency with emphasis on their collaboration to get the task executed.
• Manage self improvement e.g. efficiency, knowledge, know-how, English Language, commercial basic knowledge, concerning Industry Law and Standard process.
• Maintain communication by provide TS monthly report to TS Manager and Commercial team.  Highlight business opportunity and remedial actions. Regular Sales / TS meeting and ensure the exchange of best practice with associate in ASEAN.
• Enable to target focus on core value of customer satisfaction.

SPECIAL FEATURES/ REQUIREMENTS

   1.      Skills

•  Degree  in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, Polymer and Applied Chemistry
• Candidates without the necessary qualification but have sufficient hands-on experience in similar jobs will be considered.
•  Minimum 2 years experience in the formulation of Polyurethanes, preferably with development of Polyurethanes products
•  Good command in written and spoken English
•  Excellent communication skills.
•   Proficient in MS office application.

   2. Competencies

•  A mature person with initiative, integrity as well as strong leadership qualities and drive.
•  Able to work independently, plan, organize and implement business plan.
•   Strong problem solving and decision making and analytical skills
•  Outgoing personally, able to work independently, results orientated

   3.Knowledge

•  Good knowledge in polymers, PU Chemical, Manufacturing process with general regulatory of chemical handling.
