Job Description
The Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative (CHAI) works with partner governments in more than sixty countries on five continents to help bring effective, high-quality HIV treatment and care to people living with HIV/AIDS worldwide. Free antiretroviral (ARV) medication and patient care are now widely available in clinics throughout our programs. These local programs need highly experienced nurses, nurse practitioners, and medical doctors to mentor their colleagues in the identification of infected patients, the provision of comprehensive care including ART, and integration of HIV treatment into primary care. Assistance in the management of a busy, resource-poor clinic is also indispensable.
CHAI is looking for motivated nurses, nurse practitioners, and/or medical doctors with at least 3 years of clinical experience in HIV/AIDS treatment. Experience working in a developing country is also helpful. We are looking for clinicians who have expertise in both didactic and practical teaching, as well as those with the management skills necessary to help a clinic become more efficient, capable, and ultimately self-sustainable in its ability to handle an increasing volume of HIV-infected patients.
HIV treatment and free ARV medication is currently available in Indonesia. The Indonesian Ministry of Health and the Provincial Health Offices in Tanah Papua (consisting of Papua and Papua Barat provinces) plans to scale up HIV identification and treatment on the island with the aid of expert clinicians who can improve clinical education and system management in hospitals and clinics. CHAI is committed to assist with this goal by placing expert clinicians in strategic ART sites to educate staff, advise on efficient HIV clinical management, and improve VCT capacity and Home Based Care while enhancing sustainability.

Position Title : Security Guard

General Functions:
Under the direct supervision of Security Officer and Security Assistant, the Security Guard is
responsible for the following:
1. As the first image to be encountered while entering IOM premises security Guard should
express a remarkable model for the entire Organization and for the others
2. All guards will carry their duties and responsibilities efficiently in a courteous manner
3. While on duty security Guard has to wear uniform, have his ID card visible to all staff
4. While taking over his duty, Security Guard has to sign in the handover/takeover log book
so to assume his duties and responsibilities
5. Ensuring the security of the staff, premises and the property itself
6. Ensure that all colleagues put ID cards on visible places so could be identified easily by
Security Guards and other staff
7. Ensuring that appropriate logs are kept for the incoming mail/pouch before dissipating
them to the appropriate hands
8. In case of absence/leave of any of the Security Guards stand as a replacement for them
9. In case of emergencies take the appropriate actions while informing the Security Officer
and Security Assistant.
10. In case of earthquakes while executing evacuation plan ensure that all staff have been
evacuated and are on safe/open
11. Ensure that during weekends the back up generator to be filled if needed so to meet
operational needs of the Mission
12. Report on daily basis to Security assistant
13. Ensure that on hourly basis the office premises are checked
14. Ensure that after working hours for the other staff, if any office is left open to pay more
attention to that
15. Depending on the post ensure that radio contact is maintained all the time
16. Ensure that on 20:00’h all the offices checked and locked
17. Undertake any additional duties as deemed as appropriate by the Chief of Security, RMO
and Senior Security Guard
Desirable Qualifications
Education, experience and competencies:
Completion of high school education or secondary school. Good interpersonal skills. Good
physical condition. Prior military or police service is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work in a
multicultural, multi-ethnic environment and to maintain effective working relations with people of
different national and cultural backgrounds.

Job Title : Peace Building Translator

General Functions:
Under the direct supervision of the Reintegration Officer of the Post Conflict and Reintegration
Program (PCRP) in close coordination with the Peace-building Consultant (for PCRP) and the
Information Officer (at IOM Jakarta), and the overall guidance of the Program Coordinator, the
successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and Implementing public information,
public relations, and peace-building media strategies in support of the PCRP. In particular s/he
will:
1. Assist with translations the PCRP peacebuilding consultant in brokering relationships and
maintaining constant dialogues and programmatic focuses with Government institutions,
NGO’s, media houses and Arts/cultural circles;
2. Maintain constant communications with Beujroh in Banda Aceh to maintain programmatic
focus of the monthly tabloid Tingkap;
3. Maintain constant communications with Harian Aceh to direct the public opinion
campaign via SMS;
4. Obtain community feedback on the monthly tabloid Tingkap;
5. Maintain constant contact with the media pivotal points in each ICRS functional districts;
6. Assist the PCRP peacebuilding consultant in video documenting the attitudinal and
behavioral changes throughout the ICRS program of 10-15 exemplary ICRS clients;
7. Assist in the setting up of a Press conference in June/July 2008 and posthumously under
its shadow five relevant activities in the five ICRS functioning areas;
8. Assist in the organization of a relevant befitting cultural celebration under the banner of
the common identity, highlighting the achievements of the Aceh Peace Process to
commemorate the third year of the signing of the Helsinki MOU and the National
independence Day;
9. Maintain constant communication with Community Viewer Circles (CVC) in collaboration
with Local Partners (LP’s) and community based Self-Help Groups (SHG’s);
10. Prepare regular implementation reports and project progress reporting as required.
11. Assist staff designated to PCRP information and media activities.

General Functions:
Under the direct supervision of the Reintegration Officer of the Post Conflict and Reintegration

Information Officer (at IOM Jakarta), and the overall guidance of the Program Coordinator, the
successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and Implementing public information,
public relations, and peace-building media strategies in support of the PCRP. In particular s/he
will:
1. Assist in the development of an information and awareness campaign to explain the aims
and targets of the “Program for Peace Building Assistance in Conflict-affected
Communities in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam” to local government, clients and their
communities. This anticipates a strong public outreach mechanism that manages
communities and clients’ expectations.
2. Working with other ICRS staff and local partners, including community based
organizations (CBOs) and civil society organizations (CSOs), to produce and direct the
production of peace-building media, which may include print media, interactive radio
programming, etc: the aim is to reinforce and discuss key ideas and messages of the
program in an interactive and participative manner.
3. Edit, Format and link all photographs and captions/quote received from the field into the
interactive ‘Flash’ program’s Photo section; edit, convert and link power-point information
into the Information section; convert and link all audio and video materials into the Audio
and Video sections; obtain and link each months Tingkap news tabloid into the Tingkap
section;
4. Bi-weekly synchronization of all six information kiosks in the field;
5. Based on specific information display needs of each field office area and overall ICRS
program foci, develop relevant display banners and wall-papers for each field office.
6. Timely completion of monthly design for the public display billboards and ensuring the
service provider makes the changes simultaneously in Banda Aceh and all other six
regions with minimum possible delays;
7. Set up of Tingkap newspaper stands at key supermarkets and governmental offices in
ICRS work areas and design well suited newspaper stand displays for each monthly
edition of Tingkap;
8. Editing table assistance in the production of video documentaries and other relevant
ICRS audio and video productions;
9. Development of relevant audiovisual materials and precise technical arrangements of
visuals during press conferences, public forums, official meetings and other ICRS
program related activities highlighting the key features and purpose of the ICRS program
under the banner of a common identity.
10. Maintain constant contact with the five ICRS Field Coordinators and their respective staff,
especially the database assistant to obtain timely photographs with captions/quotes of all
major stages of ICRS field activities and events, to collaboratively design Microsoft
power-point versions of all relevant field information in the form of tables, graphs, photos
with narrations for public and official viewing and to identify specific information promotion
needs of each field office;
11. Prepare regular implementation reports and project progress reporting as required.
12. Assist staff designated to PCRP information and media activities.
13. Perform other duties as may be assigned.
