Graduate Engineer Trainee(s)

ENSCO ‘s Operations/ Engineer Trainee Program is designed to accelerate the learning process of a trainee to the extent that at the conclusion of the 36-month training program, the individual is actually operating the drilling unit under close supervision. The primary intent of the program is to prepare the trainee for operations and/or engineering assignments within our local, regional and international organizations once the program has been completed. Assignments could be anywhere within the company, including our affiliate headquarters office in Singapore or our regional headquarters office in Dubai, UAE.

The candidate must have at least the following qualifications and experience:
• Minimum of 10 years direct on site oil well drilling experience & supervisory experience with an academical/ university degree in Petroleum/ Drilling Engineering (AKAMIGAS, etc), preferably including a minimum of 5 years specially on Land Rig remote, turf and trackabel area type operations. If the candidate does not posses an engineering degree then 20 years experience is required.
• Must have the ability to conduct the drilling operation.
• Must have the ability to communicate well in English both in writing and verbally.
• Must hold a valid well control MIGAS Certificate “Ahli Pengendalian Pemboran III”.
• Be physically fit to conduct the necessary work, preferably less than 55 years in age.

Under direct supervision, rigs-up and rigs-down surface and down hole well logging equipment on work locations for the purpose of recording information about sub-surface geologic formations. Rigs-up and rigs-down surface and down-hole well logging equipment including electric, nuclear, sonic, other well logging tools, and pressure control equipment. Operates logging equipment at job site. Assembles down hole well logging tolls (electric, nuclear, sonic, other well logging tools). Maintain, cleans and performs preventative maintenance on down-hole and surface well logging equipment. Performs pre and post job inspections on vehicle and equipment and associated paperwork and/or reports.
