SKSWood, Sdn. Bhd., a leading oil and gas contractor in Brunei Darussalam, is currently seeking Planning Engineer for the integrated services contract for the maintenance and upgrading of offshore facilities and the execution of offshore projects in Brunei Darussalam.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Participate actively in campaign development work in respect to planning & resource strategies to produce optimized execution plans.
Development of the project planning packages (bar chart, manning histogram, S-Curves) required for the implementation of the work offshore. Rework plans to accept variations/deviations.
To monitor and forecast the work activities being conducted during the execution of the offshore campaign program and prepare weekly and monthly progress and forecast reports.
Collect and updating of planning database system in accordance with the reported progress from the workstations.
Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of the 2 years Campaigns Development Plan (CDP) derived from the client’s Rolling Activity Plan (RAP).
Providing technical advice and support on planning and scheduling requirements to the campaign team to enable the necessary resources to be allocated to execute the works.
Liaise with the client on all planning and scheduling aspects of the project.
Ensure that planning parameters are accurately and constantly measured and input into the planning system; with specific attention to ensure that time writing is performed accurately.
Prepare KPI and other data for campaign close out reports.

Requirements
-Minimum of five (5) years working experience in oil & gas industry
-Experience in campaign contract / maintenance project would be preferred
-Bachelor (S-1) degree from reputable university
-Able to communicate in English, both in writing and verbally
-Proficient in Primavera Project Planner (P3) and other planning software
-Familiar with job-carding system is an advantage
-Well conversant with Microsoft Office family, like Excel, Word, etc.
-Employment will be on contract basis
