The Finance & Administration Manager will assist in ameliorating and maintaining administrative and personnel systems for JSI Research and Training Institute, Inc. (JSI)’s USAID-funded Indonesia Health Services Program (IHSP). This project which is in year two of a four year contract, is based in Jakarta and promotes positive maternal, newborn and child health behaviors and services; increase capacity of district health managers and providers; improve service quality in both public and private sectors; and, improve management and integration of systems and services at all levels. Reporting directly to the Chief of Party, the Finance & Administrative Manager’s responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring compliance with USAID procedures and regulations in implementation of all project activities, as well as negotiate cooperative agreement modifications as necessary;
• Ensuring efficient and sound administrative and financial management, and supervising administrative staff;
• Overseeing the day-to-day management of the Project’s financial records, payments, and receipts;
• Organizing, coordinating, and monitoring the clerical and administrative functions required to effectively implement the goals of the Project;
• Developing approaches to contain costs, improve cost effectiveness and streamline financial management.
