1. Agronomy Assistant
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy or equivalent.
• Applicants should be Indonesian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
• Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.
• Full-Time positions available.
2. Management Trainee - Finance
Requirements:
• The selected candidate will be required to undergo one year training program in all aspects of Finance and Accounting in the Palm Oil industry.
• The candidate should possess a Bachelor Degree from a reputable university.
• The candidate should have the strive for excellence, strong desire to learn, possess strong analytical thinking skills.
3. GPS Assistant
Requirements:
• You will be required to plan and ensure that the field surveying operation are performed with high level of data integrity for timely development of GIS management tools to aid management decision making.
• The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor Geodesy from reputable Universities.
• Minimum of 3 years experience n GPS field work.
• Mastering many tipes of GPS receiver especially geodetic type, land survey equipment such as Theodolite, Total Station,compass, clinometers, as well as familiar with GPS software such as Map Edit, Map Info, Pathfinder Office, OzieExplorer, and Terra Sync.
4. HR Assistant
Requirements:
• The ideal candidate should possess at least D3/Associate Degree although Bachelors Degree is advantageous in Management.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in related field.
• You will be required to carry out administrative & support activities in relation to recruitment, HR database maintenance, proper maintenance of employee records.
• You will be expected to be able to collect relevant data, summarize and prepare management information for circulation as well as tabulate reports for information to be submitted to regulatory bodies.
International Network of Action Against Hunger (AAH)
Food Security and Livelihood Expert, Indonesia (Nusa Tengara Timur Province)
Action Contre la Faim started its activities in the country in 1998. Since then, it has operated in complex situations where a typical mix of local conflicts, communitarian tensions and natural disasters lead to food insecurity.
Late 2006, decision was made to extend the ACF scope of intervention in Indonesia to tackle long term vulnerability and situations where access to basic needs and dignity is chronically under strain. An exploratory mission was then carried-out in Nusa Tengara Timur (NTT) province. Proposals were developed accordingly and approved for an implementation period starting in July 2007.
3. WORK PLAN
The work is expected to be achieved in a maximum of 4 weeks (around 20 working days), and should start around early March 2008.
Under the overall supervision of the Chief, TCEO, the general supervision of the FAO Representative for Indonesia and the overall operational supervision of the Emergency and Rehabilitation Coordinator, the technical supervision of the FAO Chief Technical Officer for Fisheries / Project Manager in Indonesia and in close cooperation with other Deputy Project Manager, the FAO international and national consultants in the Rehabilitation Support and Coordination Unit in Indonesia, government counterpart officials, national and provincial authorities and in coordination with other international and national actors, and the direct technical supervision of the FAO International Aquaculture Consultant, the National Consultant Aquaculture Specialist will
1. Carry out duties as required/identified by the FAO International consultant Aquaculture Specialist and under the guidance of FAO-Emergency and Rehabilitation Unit Coordinator;
Specifically, the Consultant will take the following tasks and responsibility to:
2. Maintain regular liaison with Cage Aquaculture farmer groups for a better management of cage aquaculture;
3. Assist in finalizing, translating and publishing the FAO manual on better management practices for sustainable aquaculture in Kupang district;
4. Translate the technical and non-technical documents, on aquaculture activities used in the project for training and other purposes from English to Bahasa Indonesia and vice versa;
5. Manage contractors undertaking in the rehabilitation and construction of Cage Aquaculture for fishers groups along the Bay of Kupang;
6. Prepare annual work plans, and monthly activities plans and associated budgets for submission to the International Project Manager and his Deputy as required;
7. Undertake monitoring and evaluation activities as detailed in work plans, and requested by the International Project Manager and the monitoring and evaluation project plan; and
8. Perform any other related duties as required.
