UNDP Indonesia’s mission is to be an agent for change in the human and social development of Indonesia. We aim to be a bridge between Indonesia and all donors as well as a trusted partner to all stakeholders. We work in four key areas of development: Governance Reforms, Pro-Poor Policy Reforms, Conflict Prevention and Recovery, and Environment Management, with the overarching aim of reducing poverty in Indonesia. Besides the four priority areas, UNDP Indonesia is also engaged in a variety of crosscutting initiatives focused on HIV/AIDS, gender equality, and information and technology for development.

Job Knowledge & Expertise:
* Applies the required depth and breadth of knowledge and expertise to meet job demands
* Uses Information Technology effectively as a tool and resource
Education:
* Master?s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Law, Public Administration, Economics, Political Sciences, Social Sciences or related field. Ph.D degree in Social Sciences or related fields is preferable.
Experience:
* A minimum 5 years of post Master?s relevant experience at the national or international level in providing management advisory services, hands-on experience in design, monitoring and evaluation of development projects and establishing inter-relationships among international organization and national governments.
* Proven experience in project design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development project activities.
* At least 2 years of staff management experience i.e. directly supervising/managing staff.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working on bureaucratic reform/decentralization process is essential.
* Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages, experience in handling of web based management systems.
* Familiarity of UNDP system, rules and procedures is an advantage.
* Familiarity of Aceh Provincial/Local Government is an advantage.
Language Requirements:
* Fluency in both written and oral English and Bahasa Indonesia.
* Working knowledge in Acehnese language is desirable.
