We are a growing overseas business manufacturing medical devices. We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified person to run our Batam manufacturing and distribution operation.

SENIOR OPERATIONS MANAGER – BATAM

Tasks include :

• Responsibility for overall factory management including, production, distribution, finance and HR.
• Planning, supervising, motivating and controlling all staff and personnel.
• Ensure all work is carried out to agreed quality standards and specifications.
• Schedule daily and weekly work and develop appropriate work flows to achieve outcomes.
• Liaise regularly with overseas head office plus outside organisations including government bodies and labour organisations. Work with head office to ensure the business meets local statutory employee and taxation requirements.
• Ensure all production equipment is well maintained and downtime minimised.
• Assist in the development of budgets and ensure the facility operates within budgetary parameters.
• Experience with and knowledge of warehousing and distribution systems.

Skills and requirements :

• Minimum 5-8 years experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Results driven and hard working willing to meet tight deadlines.
• Professional and well presented.
• Excellent health.
• Familiarity with clean room environment would be an advantage.
• Degree in related discipline.
