Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Head of the PMEU, and in close collaboration with Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst, the incumbent will:
- Identify opportunities to synergise UNDP programmes/projects internally and within other partners.
- Provide UNDP staff and Implementing Partners with guidance on applying UNDP?s tools and programmatic rules and regulation such as: Results-based Management (RBM), CPD/CPAP, PRINCE 2, ATLAS, Balance Score Card (BSC) target, and Multi-Year Funding Framework (MYFF). As necessary, facilitate training courses.
- Assist UNDP’s Programme Units and their counterparts in designing and planning new projects, particularly in relation to the synergies with other projects and compliance with UNDP?s rules and regulations
- Assist BAPPENAS and UNDP staff to effectively plan the implementation and monitor the progress of the Government-UNDP country programme, and the status of thematic programmes and projects in utilizing programme planning, monitoring and evaluation tools.
- Assist in establishing working relationships and exchange information with other UNDP country offices in Asia and the Pacific, including UNDP Regional Centres and HQ
- Strategise resource mobilization for country office through keeping abreast of donor countries? s assistance priorities.
- Backstop the joint project between UNDP and Bappenas: Strengthening the Capacity for Programme Development and Coordination (SCPDC).
- Serves as the primary interlocutor with BAPPENAS and other key government institutions related to programme/project development.

Required Skills and Experience:
- The successful candidate will be an Indonesian who meets the following criteria and performance dimensions:
- University degree in a relevant discipline, including development, economics and/or business administration.
- A minimum of 6 years for Bachelor’s degree or 2 years for Master?s degree of practical and relevant professional experience;
- Excellent conceptual and analytical ability geared towards producing results within often short deadlines;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Indonesian;
- Well developed inter-personal skills, and a proven ability at networking with Government, civil society and donor agencies;
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure and to work independently;
- Previous experience with UNDP or other international development agencies strong asset
