Microfinance Specialist
 Based In Jakarta
Plan Indonesia plans to initiate high performance microfinance programs that address the causes and consequences of poverty in its program areas. Plan’s strategy includes working through partnerships with local financial organizations to implement sustainable microfinance programs defined by the following characteristics:

- Financial services tailored to the needs of poor women and delivered on a large scale.
- Program design and management systems based on a business model where financial self-sufficiency is a primary objective.
- An organizational culture concerned with the socio-economic impact of financial services on children.

The Microfinance Specialist will have broad responsibility for the design, implementation and monitoring of microfinance program partnerships in Indonesia.
Requirements:
- Five years experience implementing sustainable microfinance operations, with at least two years at a senior level
- In depth knowledge of the microfinance environment of Indonesia
- Strong skills in teamwork, negotiation and leadership
- University degree in appropriate field
- Computer literate
- Strong English skills
